Luxury home buyers who seek plenty of space without the hectic atmosphere of Myrtle Beach have for years been drawn to Surfside Beach, the larger town’s relaxed neighbor to its south. Home buyers will find a variety of luxury home styles in Surfside Beach, which includes both older and new construction. For example, a two-story, beach-style home with six bedrooms and around 3,000 square feet on Ocean Boulevard would have a list price of around $650,000 and up.
For home buyers who prefer luxury homes in something other than a beach style, there also are many homes off the beach—though still within easy walking distance—in varying architectural styles such as ranch or contemporary. Many of these homes, with spacious floor plans, are valued in $200,000 to $300,000 range.
